Four Claimants to the Roman Empire
Ever since the fall of Rome in 476, the question of who rightfully can bear the title as its successor has been one that has been claimed for millenia, and here even if we fail to successfully convince you, this website at the least posits evidence for all three claimants and their respective claims as the successors to Rome. Here represented above are the four figures who most embody their respective Empires, and who in some way have derived their claims as the rightful Emperor of the Romans, Charlemagne as Karolus Imperator Augustus, Constantine XI as Emperor and Autocrat of the Romans (Βασιλεὺς καὶ Αὐτοκράτωρ Ῥωμαίων), and Suleiman as Kayser-i Rûm (Caesar of Rome), rightfully bearing their titles as the Roman Emperor - with Ivan as Velikiy Knyaz Moskovskiy (великий князь Московский)
