c.1910: Based on the style this is an earlier work of Ingle's and from the subject matter it was most likely done during her first or second stint at the Ontario Ladies College.
Unknown: This piece is likely unfinished might have been proof of concept for a project Ingle was doing. Note verso says, "Mr Rinn 316 James St. S #2014 Cambria finish as sample 18 x 22" these are probably framers notes.
Unknown: Most likely c. 1950 because of similarities to other pieces done at that time, and an out of the ordinary signature which only shows up on piece she prepared for a 1950 exhibition of her work.
1907: Kathleen Munn painted a similar scene, it is quite possibly from a trip the two of them took with the McGillivray Knowles studio to Quebec in 1907.
c.1930: The two horses in this scene are known to be from a Churchville farm. Ingle is known to have been painting Churchville scenes around this time.
c. 1940: While this scene is from Ingle's trip to Santa Monica California which she took in 1928, masonite wasn't widely available until the mid 1930s so this piece must have been painted later.
c. 1960: Based on the apparent age of the subject and the time of the artist and his acquaintance. Part of the sketchbook full of contents from the 1950s.
