Woman and a Baker

This piece shows two different sketches. The upper sketch is of a woman in a hat pushing a cart down a cobble stone road, a cat looks at the viewer over the edge of the cart. The lower sketch is of a man, possibly a baker or chef, walking purposively from right to left. These are quite possibly plans for illustrative drawings.

Bertha May Ingle

c. 1920: Part of a notebook that's contents are predominantly from this time. This fits with the date range when Ingle was doing most of her illustration work.
