This piece shows a young girl with shoulder length hair from the waist up. She is peering at the viewer over the top of a circular fan that she holds in both hands. To the right hand side of the piece there are colour notes while below the drawing are quick sketches of hands and some figures. This is the reverse side of 0432

c. 1910: Based on the apparent age of the most likely subject, her niece Dorothy. Though it may be later because a drawing on the reverse side is dated 1945.
