This piece shows two studies of people from the shoulders up. The upper drawing is of a woman with short hair, while the lower drawing is of a young boy in a collared shirt. Stylistically these drawings are uncharacteristic for Ingle, there aren't any other examples of her drawing faces with proportions like these.
