Inquisitor of Hell(Script)
Description
In this project, I combined Eastern and Western imaginations of hell to create a multifaceted vision of hell. In the project, hell exists as a medium for me to present medieval law and criminal law.
I spent a lot of time researching the existence of misogyny and witch hunting in the Middle Ages and integrated these two themes into the script. On the one hand, the extensive academic references brought the plot closer to reality, and on the other hand, I was aware of the reincarnation of history when preparing and designing the play: while it is true that the status and situation of women are slowly getting better, the moral bondage and oppression of women never ceases. Most of the characters in the script are men, but the story is a story about women. I wanted to show the hardships that women have suffered to warn women that they need to fight for the rights they deserve.
When I designed the script, I wanted to show more than just the display and presentation of Medieval punishments, with the intention of enforcing justice, I wanted to convey the majesty of fate through my work: good people will always be rewarded with goodness, while bad people will be punished by fate and morality.
Here's a photo of me and my project, I attached project document too. Hope everybody enjoys this script :)
