These three pre-Columbian Mayan codices are all highly detailed documentations of the connections between the events of space and life on Earth. Though most of us cannot read the glyphs of the pages, the extensive interpretations by researchers and historians of even the smallest changes in glyphs and writing variations show just how complex these documents are. The combination of writing, esoteric mythology and symbolism, and elaborate mathematics makes for extremely dense artifacts. There is still a lot that is unknown about them, meaning new information and theories may continue to emerge.
